A scratch choir joined by soloists and professional musicians performed a concert of sacred and Baroque music on 5 March 2017. The main work was Vivaldi’s Gloria, complemented by other pieces by Vivaldi, Bach, Monteverdi and Mozart.
The choral weekend was led by Greg Batsleer, Chorus Director of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.
The soloists were Jennifer Sterling (soprano), Lauren Young (mezzo soprano), and Andy Connell-Smith and Iain Archibald (trumpet).
