January 2021 update

We’re here for you, even when our building is closed

This isn’t the start of the year we were hoping for, but we would like to let you know that we’re here for you. Due to the recent tighter lockdown restrictions, we’ve suspended all non-essential activities and events until further notice but will monitor the situation closely and will inform of any changes as soon as we can. Working with the NHS Borders, we’re ensuring that the Volunteer Hall is available to serve as a vaccination centre for local residents when and if needed.

Visit Duns Community Action Group page to learn more about what type of support we’re currently offering and how best to get in touch.

Let’s stay connected

Please take care of yourselves and those around you. We hope this is the final hurdle in what has been a very challenging time for us all. We continue to be working with local organisations and groups so do get in touch if you are looking for some support, and if we’re unable to help directly, we can put you in touch with someone who can.

Let’s stay connected, look out for one another and we’ll get through the next weeks together.

As our activities and events are on hold for now, we’ll be looking into some ideas of getting us connected online. Our next online event that is planned for January is Not The Community Quiz, hosted online via Zoom, on Friday 29 January at 7.30pm. For further information about how to sign up, please visit our website or drop us an email.
