April films at the Volunteer Hall

Duns Community Cinema will show two recent releases at the Hall on Friday 13 April:

5.30pm  Peter Rabbit
Peter Rabbit, the mischievous and adventurous hero who has captivated generations of readers, now takes on the starring role of his own irreverent, contemporary comedy with attitude. In the film, Peter’s feud with Mr McGregor (Domhnall Gleeson) escalates to greater heights than ever before as they rival for the affections of the warm-hearted animal lover who lives next door (Rose Byrne). James Corden voices the character of Peter with playful spirit and wild charm, with Margot Robbie, Elizabeth Debicki and Daisy Ridley performing the voice roles of the triplets, Flopsy, Mopsy and Cottontail. Run time 95 minutes (PG).

8.00pm  Finding Your Feet
On the eve of retirement, a middle class, judgmental snob discovers her husband has been having an affair with her best friend and is forced into exile with her bohemian sister, who lives on an impoverished inner-city council estate. The strong British cast includes Imelda Staunton, Timothy Spall, Celia Imrie, Joanna Lumley and David Hayman. Run time 111 minutes (12A). Licensed bar.

Adults £6, Children £5 (free for 3 years & under), Family £20 (two adults & two children). Tickets at the door or in advance from 01361 884 935 or admin@aheartforduns.org
